Sustainability Goals 2025: significant milestones already achieved

Strong progress towards our sustainability targets

We continue to make strong progress towards our 2025 sustainability targets. The latest 2023 report from RPM, our parent company, reports that the Group is well on track to meet several of our ambitious environmental targets:

• Reduced greenhouse gas emissions
  RPM has achieved a 19% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) per tonne of production compared to 2021. This is almost fully in line with our target to reduce emissions by 20% by 2025.
  
  
• More efficient use of energy
  RPM has already exceeded its target of reducing energy consumption by 10% per tonne of production, achieving a 20% reduction. This achievement demonstrates the Group's commitment to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
  
  
• Waste management and recycling
  RPM has made progress in waste management by reducing waste to landfill by 2% per tonne of production. We have also increased recycling by 1%, and continue to pursue the target of a 20% increase by 2025.

RPM's sustainability efforts also focus on water conservation and improvements to the working environment, reinforcing the Group's position as a leader in sustainability. With its progress to date, RPM is demonstrating that we are ready to meet and exceed the 2025 sustainability targets.
