At Tremco CPG Europe, one of the key steps in our journey to greater sustainability is regularly reviewing just how sustainable our practices are, thereby enabling us to see which areas require improvement.
As part of our commitment to society, our people and the environment, Tremco CPG Europe completes a thorough assessment of its business sustainability record on a regular basis through EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments. The EcoVadis assessment reviews businesses against a set of sustainability criteria markers across four core themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
In our latest rating from February 2025, we earned a Silver medal and scored 68%, placing Tremco CPG in the top 15% of all companies who manufacture chemical products globally.
The rating reflects the quality of Tremco CPG's sustainability management system and underscores our commitment to transparency across the entire value chain. For Environment and Ethics, we rank among the top 3%–4% of companies in our industry.
Our current sustainability practices encompass many of the initiatives highlighted on our website, including improving operational efficiency, minimising waste, conserving water, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and optimising energy consumption. Beyond these efforts, we are also deeply committed to ethical business practices – upholding core values of honesty, integrity, and respect for our employees. Additionally, we collaborate with suppliers who align with our values and expectations, ensuring that sustainability is embedded throughout the entire supply chain.
While these principles are standard practice for us, they also play a crucial role in enhancing our overall sustainability efforts.
As our customers require more sustainable products and practices, we too have the opportunity to adjust and amend the products and services that we offer. From sourcing more recycled packaging to our R&D departments introducing new, environmentally friendly products and systems, the desire to become more sustainable and efficient is inherent across all areas of our business.
