An "invisible" technology you can trust

In the field of construction, many of the technologies that contribute to your quality of life remain imperceptible to the naked eye. CPG Europe uses state-of-the-art technologies to manufacture systems on all 6 sides of the building. And after installation, many of them are invisible, yet contribute greatly to your peace of mind.

Solid and sustainable structures

If there's one thing you want to be able to have complete confidence in when it comes to construction, it's the structure of your building. But how to differentiate the most efficient construction processes, when once finished the buildings look very similar from the outside?

Nudura is the product brand of CPG Europe that offers insulating concrete formwork blocks, or BCIs. This technology makes it possible to build strong, durable, airtight and well-insulated walls, in reinforced concrete cased in polystyrene elements. In these polystyrene formwork stacked and connected on site, steel reinforcements are inserted, then ready-to-use concrete is poured. Polystyrene combined with concrete provides thermal inertia, which makes it possible to heat and cool the buildings thus constructed more efficiently, and thus to increase their energy efficiency in all seasons.

From walls to windows

Regardless of the installation method, the quality of a window depends on its caulking. The user must be able to be assured that the products used to achieve it, although invisible after installation, will prevent unwanted drafts and moisture from entering the building.

Indeed, today only 3-function systems - airtightness on the inside, continuity of thermal and acoustic insulation in the middle, and resistance to driving rain on the outside - can give satisfaction. For this, we use various complementary products: membranes, expansive foams, impregnated foams, sealants ... or multifunction strips that alone meet all these requirements ... or even have other characteristics: this is the case of some impregnated foams, which are permeable to water vapor (to avoid condensation in the joint), or flame retardant (for passive fire protection).

To be able to make the right choice for your project, it is essential to have a complete range and experts who can advise you.

Technology right under your feet

The benefits of some flooring technologies are not necessarily perceived by the user. For example, regarding the flooring of parking terraces or balconies exposed to the weather, it is necessary to prescribe a surface texture, to increase the slippage resistance of the floor. The user will not notice it on a suitable floor, but if he slips on a smooth floor, he will certainly notice the absence of this type of finish.

In the same way, if you live in an apartment and you hear every footstep, every shock on the floor of your neighbors above, you will become aware of how the sound propagates through the building. However, this type of nuisance can be avoided by the use of coatings that increase sound insulation.

Flowcrete, the product brand of CPG Europe, has a solution in this area: Flowshield Acoustics. It is a liquid resin-based system that can be applied seamlessly, from one part to another, following the shape of the parts. It comes in a wide choice of colors to suit customer tastes and buildings. Smooth, Flowshield Acoustics is easy to clean, therefore more respectful of hygiene standards. Safety is also improved thanks to its non-slip profile and fire resistance.

The health and safety benefits are also found when applying the product. With low VOC emissions, reduced cleaning and maintenance costs, and a robust nature to cope with regular attendance, applicators can also have peace of mind knowing that the installation does not affect their health, and that the flooring is durable enough to stand the test of time.

Silent flooring with fire resistance

When we talk about fire protection, we are not just talking about a fire extinguisher in the corner of a room. Passive fire protection (PPI) must be built into the structure of the building from the moment it is built, in order to preserve the lives of the people who use it, and to limit the financial impact of damage to buildings and their contents in the event of a fire.

PFP limits the spread of fire and smoke by containing them as long as possible in the only compartment where the fire started, thus protecting escape routes and the structure of the building. This protection is either provided by the materials from which the building is constructed or added to the building after construction to enhance its fire resistance.

CPG's Nullifire product brand offers various systems to provide passive fire protection: intumescent coatings for metal frames, caulking products for static and dynamic joints of the building, but also for penetrations and penetrations of plastic/metal pipes, as well as cable trays.
